Dog Park Passes Now On Sale!

All dogs using the Ankeny Dog Park must wear an annual permit tag on their collar. Passes are now on sale at the Parks & Recreation office. The cost is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents; a separate pass is required for each dog. Since the park will not be open the full year in 2010, the pass will be good through December 2011! All resident season pass holders must also have their dogs licensed through the City. The license fee is $5 per animal and can be purchased in conjunction with a dog park pass. A proof of current rabies vaccination is needed to obtain the license. If you are a non-resident purchasing a dog park pass, you must show proof of current rabies vaccination in your respective city or county.

Residents*: $25
Non-Resident: $35
Daily: $5
*all residents must have their city pet license as well, which is $5 per animal
