In January 2008, a task force of citizen volunteers began working with the City of Ankeny to make an off-leash dog park a reality in our community.

Such a park would provide a fenced-in, outdoor space for dogs to run and play off-leash, with specific rules to help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.

Our dream is becoming a reality. The construction has begun and scheduled to open late summer/early fall 2010!
